XFUSION Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the XFUSION mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between the XFUSION Development Team (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "XFUSION") and the user of this App (hereinafter referred to as "you"). By completing registration, logging in, or using any feature provided by the App, you are deemed to have fully read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all the contents of these Terms.
1. Description of Service and Hardware Interaction
The App is designed to provide users with interaction services related to XFUSION brand bicycle hardware or accessories, including but not limited to hardware connection management (via Bluetooth), bicycle data synchronization, configuration adjustments, and Over-the-Air/Device Firmware Updates (OTA/DFU).
You acknowledge and agree that we shall not bear any responsibility for functional abnormalities caused by your own device hardware failure, Bluetooth signal interference, or network interruption.
2. Account Registration and Security Obligations
- Account Accuracy: When registering an account in the App (including authorizing logins via third-party accounts such as Google or Apple ID), you shall ensure that the information provided is true and accurate.
- Safekeeping Obligation: You shall properly safeguard your account credentials. Any operations performed using your account shall be deemed your own actions.
- Account Deletion: Users have the right to request account deletion within the App settings at any time. Once an account is deleted, all identification data and binding relationships under the account will be completely removed.
3. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
When using the App, you must comply with relevant laws and regulations and covenant not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract the source code, communication protocols, or backend API interfaces of the App.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities in the App or servers to engage in malicious attacks, distribute viruses, or interfere with the normal use of other users.
- Falsifying hardware communication data or maliciously uploading illegal files that may corrupt the bicycle firmware system.
4. Intellectual Property Statement
All content of the App (including but not limited to application interface design, trademarks, brand logos, text, software code, charts, technical architecture, and hardware control logic) belongs to the XFUSION Development Team or its legal licensors. Without explicit written permission, no one may copy, modify, distribute, or utilize the content for commercial purposes.
5. Disclaimer and Assumption of Risk
- Service Provided "As Is": The App and its related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We cannot guarantee that the operation of the App will be entirely uninterrupted or completely error-free.
- Firmware Update Risk Notice: When executing wireless firmware updates (OTA/DFU) for bicycle hardware components, users shall strictly follow the instructional prompts within the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any hardware failures or data loss caused by users violating operation guidelines or forcing interruptions in unstable environments.
6. Modifications and Dispute Resolution
- Modifications to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The modified Terms shall become effective immediately upon publication on the webpage. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the App shall first be resolved through good faith and amicable negotiation between both parties. If negotiation fails, both parties agree to seek resolution through applicable legal procedures and litigation channels.
